Accomplishments
2021 Classroom Renovations
Budget restrictions limited renovation work from 2015 through 2019 primarily to ongoing maintenance needs (e.g. lighting, seat repair, replacement of blinds, patching, painting, etc.).
In 2019, the Chancellor approved funding for a three-year classroom renovation program that resulted in significant improvements to Buchanan and Girvetz Halls over the next two years. Unfortunately, progress was slowed due to COVID cutbacks which resulted in postponing significant upgrades to Harold Frank Hall, HSSB 1173, and HSSB 1174.
In mid-2022, the green light was given to continue the planned renovations to Harold Frank Hall, HSSB, Girvetz, North Hall and Phelps.
