WOODHOUSE LAB

The Woodhouse Lab has the potential for being a very attractive building. Its exterior reflects the original elements of design found in early UCSB architecture. Iron gates and an interior courtyard add to its visual appeal.

A recycling/trash cluster may not add to the appeal of its entry, but it blends in well enough. Its the landscaping that needs work, detracting from an otherwise well-maintained exterior.

The interior of the courtyard is quite another matter. It is a visual disaster.
A picture is worth a thousand insults.
It is a shame that a garden spot like this should be so neglected.
Adding insult to injury.
Not even Isla Vista with a Saturday morning hangover looks this bad.
So much potential. So much neglect.
