Students entering campus from Isla Vista are greeted by the well-placed SRB. While the building is stark and uninspiring, it could be enhanced with much better landscaping.

The elliptical auditorium adds interest to the SRB, however, the abundance of concrete only adds to the harsh and cold look of the building.

Only landscaping can help.

The open interior gives students and vistors alike a sense of wonder and delight. The information desk is well placed and well designed.

All of the hard surfaces create a noisy space. Maybe someday the ceiling could be painted a light blue and clouds of acoustic material could be blown in. Call me crazy. And while you're at it add some nature to the stark surroundings.
