SOUTH HALL

Clearly identified and enhanced with attractive landscaping, South Hall holds its own in its 6th decade of existence.

Entry doors are in need of better cleaning.

Floor tiles in the southwest tower are showing their age.
Walls in the same wing could use a new coat of paint.
The interior of the SW wing looks somewhat dingy.
Bulletin boards add a lot to clutter and very little to useful information.
Another sign of neglect (granted that the back side of the door hardware is difficult to clean).
Worn mats are found throughout campus and should be replaced.
Wall patching and painting is needed in the northwest wing.
The elevator lobby (NW wing) is attractive in this photograph, however, the lobby is quite dark and in need of better lighting (perhaps just a matter of bulb replacement).
The wall may be freshly painted but the deteriorating plastic enclosing the fire extinguisher is an eyesore.
Classroom signage, in general, should be beter maintained.
